NACRA CHAMPIONSHIPS - Players selection

John Devonport South Team Manager ****** USA South has again been asked by USAR to represent the USA in this championship USA Rugby South will hold tryouts for the Men's Senior Select side on January 5th at Life University. The team selected will play Mexico's national team at Life University on January 19th. If we win against Mexico we will play Jamaica, in Jamaica, on February 23. We would also play the Bahamas on April 6 and the Cayman Island national team May 4 at home followed by Bermuda May 18 as long as we continue to win this knockout competition. Camp agenda: This will be a 1 day camp 8:30 - 9:00 Camp Registration 9:00 to 12:00 Skill Assessment 12:00 to 1:30 Lunch Break 1:30 to 4:00 Scrimmage and Game Analysis 4:00 to 5:00 Break and free time 5:00 Team to face Mexico and pool of 40 announced 5:30 End of day In order to attend the camp you must have a letter of recommendation from your coach emailed to jody.hensley@mtsu.edu or renedaniel@comcast.net or david_conyers@hotmail.com before January 2nd. If you were select to play against Bermuda or Mexico last year you will not need a letter of recommendation. Just let us know you are coming. If you attend the tryout and are selected you must make the financial commitment to play through the entire NACRA tournament based on your availability. We ask that you come prepared to place a $200.00 deposit down for the flights to Jamaica if you are selected in the pool of 40. If we were to lose to Mexico your deposit will be refunded.
