South champion advances to the USA Rugby Division II National Championship Tournament Playoffs which will be held on April 12th through the 14th. Location TBA. There may be a 2nd seeded team from the South playing into a playoff against a team TBD to progress to the Women’s D2 National Championship Playoffs April 12-14th, 2013. Finals will be held on May 3-4th, 2013, Location TBA. |

| Information |
Conference Points System
The teams are ranked according to the number of competition points they accrue throughout the season.
Competition points are awarded as follows:
4 for winning a match
2 for drawing (tie) a match
0 for losing a match
Bonus Points are awarded as follows:
1 Bonus Point for scoring four or more tries in a match
1 Bonus Point for losing by seven or fewer points
Forfeit-NEP = Forfeit b/c not eligible player = -1 points
Forfeit-NP = Forfeit and match not played = -5 points
Forfeit-FP = Forfeit and match played = -1 points
Teams can score up to two additional bonus points in each regular season match. One bonus point will be awarded to any team that scores four tries or more in a single game, regardless of win/loss/draw. A bonus point will also be awarded to the losing side if the margin of loss is 7 points or less. Only the losing side can achieve the maximum 2 bonus points.
Tie Breaker
At the conclusion of the competition, if multiple teams accumulate an identical total of points, a tie breaker must be used.

3. Least number of points allowed in all matches
4. Greater number of tries scored in all matches
5. Coin toss
