High School Game Management Guidelines 2015
 
USA Rugby Referees’ management has established guidelines to refereeing at the high school level in the USA. These guidelines enable players and referees to have a clearer approach to the game and to be more consistent in Law application throughout the country. They also reflect directives from World Rugby.

These guidelines are to be distributed and applied nationally to all referees, referee performance reviewers, referee, coaches, players/teams, coaches and administrators for 2015.

Palm Beach Punishers
 
The Palm Beach Punishers will be merging with the Jupiter Sharks for the current season. Sad to see a team leave the league. Maybe next year!

Their games have been changed to a BYE weekend for the teams that had games scheduled with them.

Information
Competition Standing & Points System
• A win will count as four (4) points

• A tie will count as two (2) points

• A loss and/or forfeit will count as zero (0) points

• No bonus points will be given for any games.

• The maximum positive points differential any team can receive from any one game is +25

• The maximum negative points differential any team can receive from any one game is -25

• Byes will count as four (4) points and a winning score of 25 to 0

• Forfeits will count as zero (0) points for the forfeiting team. The non-forfeiting team will be given a win of 25 – 0 and therefore gain four (4) points.

Tie Breaking Procedures
In the event that teams end the season on equal competition points in their divisional standings. The following tie breaking procedures will be used:
• Head to Head Play – if the tie remains or it is a three-way tie we use…
