Dear Members.
At the Board Meeting in July the Board Members voted to do away with the sliding scale for Referee & AR Payments and go to a one price system.
All appointed Referees will now be paid $60.00 per game and appointed A.Rs will be paid $30.00 per game.
This will give clubs the ability to budget accordingly and give all referees a fair return for their preparation and effort in meeting their obligation with the clubs.
Travel expenses for matrix games will be paid on an “as requested” basis and no longer monthly, unless you desire.
The FRU was informed at the end of July about this change and has raised no objection or comments. I did ask for the FRU to alert its member clubs in order to ward off any questions on game days.
Have fun in the new season, brush up on the Law Clarifications and Changes made in the summer which now go into effect September 1st.
