Just two rounds to go for the mens before the playoffs. After this weekend we will probably have a clear idea of who will be advancing.

Division 2
Miami (2-4) vs. Fort Lauderdale (2-3) - A meaningless game between two teams who have disappointed once again this season, and will miss the playoffs. Miami's two victories have come against winless Okapi, while FTL also beat Okapi. The Knights did pick up a quality win against Orlando, a game in which their defense stepped up. It will have to do so again this Saturday, as Miami have scored points, even in all but one of their losses. I think the Knights do just enough to edge the home team. Fort Lauderdale 32, Miami 29
Naples (2-3) vs. Boca Raton (5-1) - The Buccaneers go on the road for a game they likely need to win if they want to stay in the top two spots that receive a home semi. They're only a point ahead of the Tridents, but have an extra game to play, which is a very winnable home game against Miami next weekend. Naples have two makeup games against FTL left after this one, and even if they win out, would be unable to catch Boca. The road team should win this by a couple of tries. Boca Raton 28, Naples 15 Orlando (4-2) vs. Tampa (5-1-1) - Jacksonville's road defeat at Boca last week opens the door now for Orlando, who will face Jax in the final game of the season next week. As they sit only two points behind Jax, the Griffins don't NEED to win this game, but a victory could put them in the running to catch Tampa for the division title and a home semi. The second-placed team in this division is likely to get the fourth seed and travel in the final four. Tampa's hopes of a home semi likely come down to this game, their final one of the season. They're on 27 points, with Boca only two points back and an extra game to play. Tampa needs this one more. Tampa 32, Orlando 20
Division 3
Brevard (2-2) vs. Daytona (0-4) - A win in this one and a Sarasota loss in St. Pete would secure Old Red Eye a playoff spot, however, a Pelis loss could put Brevard in with a chance at the third seed. Red Eye roll over the poor Coconuts. Brevard 42, Daytona 14
Sarasota (2-3) vs. Bay Area (3-1) - The Surge have kept their postseason hopes alive with back-to-back wins over bottom-dwelling Daytona and Indian River, but this game poses a much bigger challenge. The Pelis are seeking a first playoff spot in what seems forever, and don't have far to travel for this home game. A win would also keep them right on Gainesville's heels for a potential home semi. Pelis edge it. Bay Area 25, Sarasota 22 ABOUT OUR SPONSOR
