Division 2

Boca Raton (6-1, 30pts) vs. Miami (2-5, 12pts) - A win for the Buccaneers in this one will cement themselves as the number one overall seed and the home semifinal against the wild card team Jacksonville or Orlando that comes with it. Miami gave up 59 points to Fort Lauderdale last week and have given up an average of 52.6 points in their five losses. Their only two wins have come against 0-7 Okapi. Boca, meanwhile, have shaken off their one loss to Tampa with three straight wins to move within a point of Krewe, who have already finished their regular season. Things could get ugly. Boca 63, Miami 20

Okapi Wanderers (0-7, 1pt) vs. Miami Tridents (4-3, 24pts) - Nothing but pride to play for here as Okapi have yet to win a game and the Tridents are securely in the third playoff spot, thanks to being the easiest division - with a likely trip to Tampa looming after Easter. They will want to make a statement, however, after losing their last three games. Tridents 58, Okapi 7 

Jacksonville (3-3-1, 22pts) vs. Orlando (4-3, 21pts) - The D2 game with the most on the line this weekend, and it should be a good one. The winner will clinch the fourth seed and will likely travel to Boca on April 7 in the state semis. Orlando won the first meeting between these two 35-29 at their field and are 2-1 on the road this season with impressive wins over Tridents and division leaders Tampa. Jacksonville are 1-1-1 in their last three and put up 57 points on the visiting Tridents last month. I'm going with the home team to edge it. Jacksonville 38, Orlando 35

Fort Lauderdale (3-3, 14pts) vs. Naples (2-4, 9pts) - Two teams who can entertain at times, but will both miss out on the playoffs. That's all there is to say about this one, really. Fort Lauderdale 29, Naples 22

Division 3 

Daytona Beach (0-5, 0pts) vs. Indian River (0-5, 0pts) - A game that ensures only one team will finish the D3 season with zero wins. Unless there's a tie! Daytona 25, Indian River 7

Bay Area (4-1, 18pts) vs. Palm Beach (5-0, 21pts) - A fun season finale that could be a preview of a semifinal or even the championship game. Pelis have had their best season in quite a few years, while the Panthers remain a title contender on a pretty much yearly basis. It's a long trip for PB, but they will want to keep their unbeaten record intact and keep that top spot. Pelis need a win or a Brevard loss to Gainesville to avoid having to travel down to Palm Beach in the semis, but could still get the second seed if the Hogs lose. Palm Beach 45, Bay Area 25 

Brevard (3-2, 16pts) vs. Gainesville (4-1, 21pts) - A very interesting matchup with monster playoff implications. A Hogs win locks up the second seed and a home semi, likely vs. Brevard again. If Red Eye win and get a bonus point, they could conceivably get the 2 seed as well. I think the Hogs will just about have enough with more on the line. Gainesville 19, Brevard 17
